Rutin, also known as rutin or vitamin P, has a molecular formula of C27H30O16 and is a natural flavonoid glycoside. It belongs to a group of flavonol glycosides widely found in plants, with two glycosides being glucose and rhamnose. It appears as a pale yellow or light green crystalline powder.
